Restaurant, in the National Park, close to the Beach, seasonal and local food from local Farmers,www.feinheimisch.de
The Wonnemeyer restaurant is definitely worth a visit. There used to be a beach restaurant, so this house is of course not comparable and the direct view of the North Sea is missing a bit. Nonetheless, the operators also had a fine hand here, whether with the establishment or the selection of dishes, very fine. We were guests here on three evenings and felt very comfortable. We would love to come back and are already looking forward to the beautiful island of Sylt.
Delicious food, nice atmosphere and very nice staff. (Hygiene regulations are observed.)
Wine was OK, prawns were fried and carrots as a complement. . . . ? Even the waiter apologizes for the composition. Cheese plate was OK. Tomato jam only tasted like sugar and ginger. Pity!
Very good food. Great, friendly service (thanks Christof!). Super located. Price-performance ratio fits.
Perfect from start to finish. Great food, great service especially from Christof. There were five of us to eat, we got a seat without a reservation. I can only recommend it.
After making a reservation, we had a really successful evening. Very friendly service, the offer on the menu was explained in detail. The food ordered was excellent and generously portioned. Price / performance absolutely fit. The hygiene measures were implemented excellently. Couldn't everything go better! Many Thanks!!
Oh how beautiful Wonnemeyer was when it was still in Wenningstedt. Child-friendly, good service and delicious dishes at moderate prices. Now the service is not unfriendly, but outrageous. Three cold sausages, the fries soft and bland. When asked that the food was cold, the food was taken away amid grumbling. A lukewarm currywurst came again with now ice cold fries. The taste of the sausage was zero. And then the price, totally unacceptable. Like this, never again.
Location great. If you come by car you have to pay € 3.00. Little choice on the menu. Many dishes were out, we were not referred to the menu of the day. Employee with very long hair that wasn't pigtailed - very unhygienic. The dish "sheep's cheese with olives" only had two small strips of shepherd's cheese, the rest of the plate was served with olives and peppers. Bad service.
Yes, it was nice. For dinner, tasted good, regional food was very good, friendly and competent service. Relaxed, cozy atmosphere.
The "fish stew" offered was more of a mussel stew. For guests who do not eat mussels, the stew only contained two small fish bites. That should be made clear on the menu. I would have ordered something else then.
We knew old Wonnemeyer and always found him very good. Tried the new one on Weststrand for the first time yesterday. Unfortunately no more comparison in terms of taste and quality. The baked goat cheese was more reminiscent of a frozen camber and disappeared under its breading. No rice pudding grains were used for the rice pudding, but probably long grain rice that had also been cooked to a mud. There are clearly better ones in Westerland without naming them. The watermelon salad with feta was also arranged rather carelessly and definitely didn't live up to its price. All in all, the most disappointing dining experience this vacation. It's a shame about the location!
Thanks so much to Nicole and Carla. They made Our stay a fabueles holiday evening and after the rain a wonderful sunset Dinner in Our beachbasket Strandkorb! Olivia and Michael
Very tasty food. We love coming here. It's worth a visit. Fries delicious too.
Great food, warm service and great space! Perfect for every trip to the north of Sylt. thank you
Just wanted to order the "delicious iced coffee". First I got ice chocolate. When I complained, the waiter informed me that I had already had a long drink. Then brought lukewarm coffee with cream. The note that the ice cream was missing caused the waiter to say that he would not like the iced coffee either. Never again.
Sylt summer sunny and felt 18 degrees with strong cross wind 😬, but still great welcomed and cared for 👌 Repetition risk😛
From the greeting to the invoice everything was very good. Highly recommended. We'll see each other again in September.
We were at Wonnemeyer on July 2nd, 2020. Had the feeling that there was chaos. The food, cake and milk rice pounded on the table very carelessly. It didn't taste good either! The rice pudding, 10 minutes left to cook and the cake, was just sweet and tasteless! Previously at the old location, it was more cozy and tasty. You have the feeling that sales have to be made. This has nothing to do with the usual quality. Interestingly, no one was asked anywhere to leave his data there. Right now in the Corona period. Mr. Wonnemeyer, there was no registration form with us! Please don't want me to be portrayed as a liar! I forbid that!
Certainly a great place. Couldn't enjoy it though, lunch break is more important than serving customers. The following should be said about the break. Would not be a problem in itself if you would point out the customer in any way (website or similar) before paying 3 euros parking fee and then marching up. There is 1 star because we were at least at a great pub down in the parking lot.
Amazing! I was on the terrace and it has beautiful views. The atmosphere is very nice and the music in the background is fantastic (chill style). The food is very good, there are many Spanish or Spanish-inspired dishes. The staff is very friendly, they work very well. I totally recommend it.
I went with my Family there two times and those two times where perfect I must say. Service definitely deserves a 5/5 and for the price food is not only enough but good and original. We just saw the chef eating his own food outside the kitchen and then we have a mace talk with him. Nice spot, nice service and honestly nice food. This is a must do in Sylt.
Here you can sit wonderfully. The service is great and incredibly fast. The food is delicious. We will be back.
Great location...windy
I'm not sure if this is the same place, but in 1978 (ish) I was visiting Kampen with my Mother as it was her Uncle's 70th birthday. On the night we arrived she visited her Aunt and Uncle while her cousin and his wife took me out and we visited this place. It was a very friendly place and I really enjoyed the food we ate. Of course, as we had travelled from England, and not really having any sleep, the alcohol went straight to my head; so when I visited the toilet I was seeing double. It was pure luck that I opened the correct door and went into the men's toilet and not the ladies. We left shortly after and visited another place in Kampen. We stayed for a week then came home again. It was a good week and my Mother's uncle had his party in a huge place with what seemed like half the people living on the island being invited. He used to be the Burgermeister so everyone knew him. My Mother wanted to see her Uncle as she had strong ties to her family and thought it may be the last time they would meet as we were not very rich, and visiting Sylt was a luxury to us. She was right about not seeing any family again. She ended up getting cancer three years later. I returned in 1981 to bury her ashes in St. Severin Church. I never visited this eating place/pub again but maybe one day I'll return. Hopefully it will be before I am a box of ash waiting to join Mother and big Sister in the graveyard. I'm not trying to be morbid here, I just write what's in my head when doing these write-ups on Google. I put a few photos here as well but they are not of the pub.
Tolle Location
